Guess who's Back!

Hey guys, one and all. I hope you people didn't think I was dead or anything :-P
My apologies for not updating my DA for AGES!! I was trying to finish up my Graduate work in hopes of getting a degree. I am happy to say that I will be graduating with my degree in Applied computer graphics at summer's end! *applause*
As for works and things, I've been working really hard on a few new animations. All of which are in Flash. They are done, and I hope to have them uploaded in the next couple of days *hugs DA for allowing the upload of animations*
I know it's been a long time, but now that I have some "free time" again -- I hope to be ever vigilant in my activities on DA and hang out with you guys again. I look forward to your critiques, comments, and everything witty on my latest works real soon!

A New Year, A New Me

Hello All!!
I know it's been forever and a half since I've updated last. So here goes ...
I've been having a productive summer, working with 3D modeling, Life Drawing, Digital Drawing, and Cartooning in Flash. I'm still in Grad School and I am in my Second year now. I'm really looking forward to my courses this semester. I am taking three courses and starting to write my proposal for my Final directed Project.
In other news, I have resigned from my Position as a volunteer Graphics Design Editor for the Student Journal Crossroads. We are in the process of looking for a replacement, as I write this. More on that later. It was a good run all in all, and I had a lot of fun created six covers for them. I will miss them a lot, and I'm sure they will miss me as well.
I've also been starting my job hunting for next year. I'll be graduating in the Summer of 2008 so if you guys have any leads for me to follow, please let me know.
Lastly, I'm starting a new Production. The concept work has been posted, so please come by and post your comments. All feedback is welcome. I'm making a Mockumentary of an Evil Organization. So be sure to find good humor and much hilarity in there. Wish me luck!

Summer be Here :D

Hey all,
Well I finally made it through the semester, and all went well indeed. I've connected again with a friend that I haven't seen since my early childhood. I'm trying to arrange for us to meet again, but things keep getting in the way. I hope we can meet again real soon though.
Anyway, my latest work is completed. It's called "The Cutting Room" and you can watch it on my You Tube Account Here: www.youtube.com/TuxedoPengu I hope you guys enjoy it, comment on it as well.
I've also, FINALLY, posted up Maxwell: The House Cat as well on the same site, so watch that one too and get a good giggle out of it.
Both animations are pictured in my gallery, but to watch them you need to go to You Tube. haha, its the best way for me to get these monsters up on the web for the audience's viewing pleasure.
From now on, My animated works will go on there, and I will keep all my painted and drawn works on this gallery, just to keep things easy to remember, so check both sites.
My Summer will be really busy though. I have to do some job huntings as I graduate from school next year, so I want to get a jump on that, and I also have to do some research for a Project I will be working on in the fall so I can graduate next spring, haha.
Also this summer, I'm playing with the idea of working on another animated short with another friend of mine. We'll see how that pans out. I'm also going to be doing more sketching and painting so look out for more work in that area.

Digital Cinema Contest 2007

Hey all,
Sorry it's been a while since my last update, but I've been one busy pengu, really.
I'm currently working on a few projects in my classes and for research and things are coming to a head as the semester for me winds down and down to the end.
First of all, I have great news, I entered an animation I worked on from my last semester to my school's film festival and we took third place!! I am so proud of this achievement, you guys have no idea. I dragged ma buddy MystRunner916 with me to see the proceedings.
The animation I submitted is called "Maxwell: the House cat," and is about the realy daily life of a house cat when his owner is away. I'm going to open up a You Tube account and post that animation and any future work I do in animation. A great achievement for me this night. It's a good feeling.
The second work I'm working on is called "The Cutting Room" which is about a Director's epic quest in filming the pivotal scene in his latest movie, but fails horribly because of many things that go wrong with his shots. This one is currently in production, but we are almost finished, This will also be entered into many film festivals, and also on You tube as well.
Thirdly, I'm working on a project using the motion capture equipement we have on campus to eventually create an education game that will teach young deaf children how to sign math signs in sign language. Right now I am recording the signs and soon I will be cleaning them up. With any luck I might steal a few of the clean signs and throw them up here as well for your viewing pleasure .. either that or they'll be on you tube ... again. haha
So That's been my life for the past few months or so. I'm looking forward to the summer so I can really buckle down and start learning some more in animation and modeling and so on. I might also be working on some more projects.
Also, I've asked mewgal and himeko to draw me up one of their characters so that I can model, texture, and animate for them. They've agreed and I look forward to seeing what they come up with.
